Financial Services Consultant
Utilities Employees Credit Union (UECU) is seeking a Financial Services Consultant to support members through consumer loan and mortgage application conversations while delivering a positive, relationship-focused member experience. This hybrid role offers a balance of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.
Position Summary
This position helps members identify borrowing needs, understand available consumer and mortgage options, begin the application process, and gather required information or documentation. The role also partners with Lending Services, Deposit Services, the Call Center, Marketing, and Business Development to ensure timely follow-up and a smooth member experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to member inquiries by phone, email, online channels, and in person
- Promote appropriate UECU products and services
- Conduct outreach
- Support application-related next steps
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of customer service experience
- Credit union, financial services, consumer lending, mortgage application, or loan-processing experience preferred
- Strong communication, sales, member service, and Microsoft Office skills
