Field Service Technician (100% Travel)
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, commission, and start up mechanical and electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment failures, and complete corrective repairs to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instructions while utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to support service activities.
- Serve as the primary on-site company representative, communicating service findings, recommendations, and solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements, maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation, identify additional service opportunities, and provide feedback to internal teams to support product and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Must be located in one of the following metropolitan areas: Chicago, New York, Orlando, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Denver.
- A high school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 2+ years of field service, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or related experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and service documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN.
