Field Service Tech I
About the role
As a Field Service Technician, you will maintain and service IGT equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. You will respond to dispatches, drive to customer sites within a designated zone, deliver supplies, and install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair IGT gaming machines in the field.
- Support Technical teams with installation, removal, conversion, preventive maintenance, and game preparation.
- Read and translate wiring diagrams.
- Resolve technical problems, perform program upgrades, and download setups.
- Test programs using various verification devices.
- Troubleshoot with input and output tests.
- Set up game options and test devices, pay tables, reel strips, and bonus awards.
- Install, repair, and maintain data lines, fiber optics, and telephone lines.
- Share knowledge with customers on basic game functionality.
- Maintain a positive image of IGT with coworkers and customers.
- Provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
- In-depth user-level knowledge of SAP preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or IT-related training is a plus.
- Experience in electronics, repair, field service, or a related industry; slots and gaming technician experience is a plus.
- Computer literacy and documented technical experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals.
- Experience using basic tools.
- Ability to work varied shifts, overtime, travel to client sites, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to adapt to various jurisdictions and interface effectively with compliance officers.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to deliver equipment using box trucks.

Pay
The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $22.37–$27.96 USD, based on skills, experience, education, and geographic location. Actual compensation may vary.
