Responsibilities
- Aid employees with employment paperwork, verify documents, ensure completeness, and adhere to deadlines.
- Enter correct phase codes and material recaps.
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing, maintaining documentation, and data entry.
- Balance and submit time sheets to payroll within the specified timeframe.
- Obtain required authorizations/approvals for various paperwork.
- Support the Site Manager and Superintendents with weekly progress reports and equipment inventory.
- Aid in procurement of office supplies and consumable materials.
- Assist Purchasing with paperwork, collect and match delivery tickets, and communicate with vendors.
- Receive, sort, and log all incoming deliveries; prepare all outbound deliveries.
- Assist with the on-boarding of the Project HSE site, including safety orientation.
- Administer and submit forms in a timely manner, assist with crafting employee questions regarding insurance benefits, FMLA, 401K, and other benefit-related issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in field clerk/office management in a construction environment.
- Willingness to work in a construction environment and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Ability to work at the project office location.
- Proven proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Compliance with attendance requirements of the project.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
