About the role
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Responsibilities
- Technical background in asbestos, lead, and industrial hygiene surveys and abatement planning/oversight.
- Will be flexible on project schedule to meet client needs.
- Performs site visits, field observations, and field data collection for assignments.
- Routine maintenance of field equipment.
- Assists in the collection and analysis of data from laboratory reports (sampling data), reports, maps, and drawings.
- Tabulate electronic environmental and assessment data and assist with the development of corresponding reports.
- Coincide work with supervisors and other environmental staff.
- May have limited client contact pertaining to specific projects/tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related science field and a minimum of 1 year related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years’ related experience.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Qualifications
- Preferred Certification: 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification, Pennsylvania Asbestos Inspector Certification or other Asbestos Certifications, Pennsylvania Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor Certification.
