Industrial Hygienist - Field Technician

About the role

Partner is seeking a full-time field technician in our Industrial Hygiene Department. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience performing industrial hygiene services, such as, but not limited to, asbestos, lead, radon, and IAQ investigations. More experienced candidates are welcome to apply to this position, and we will discuss positions commensurate with their experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget
• Communicate with the client and subject site representatives
• Data compilation and organization
• Report authoring
• Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.)
• Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with the report deliverable schedule and plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in biological/physical sciences or engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting (plus, but not required)
• Certifications for the asbestos inspector (EPA and/or city/state), Lead-based paint Risk Assessor, and Radon Inspector are a plus. Partner will pay for employees to get all certifications that are needed.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
• Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
• Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.

Pay

Compensation: Salary range: $50,000 to $70,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
