Responsibilities

• Conduct Indoor Air Quality and Post-Remediation Verification Assessments associated with:
  • Water Intrusion/Mold
  • Moisture Mapping
  • Air Sampling for Mold and IAQ Parameters
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Prepare Scope of Work and Draft Technical Reports.
• Conduct Asbestos and Lead Based Paint Surveys and Abatement and Remediation Oversight/Air Sampling.
• Conduct Industrial Hygiene Sampling and Monitoring, including:
  • Industrial Hygiene Assessments of Chemical and Noise Exposures
  • Air Monitoring
  • Sound Level Surveys
• Observe and Recommend Engineering and Administrative Controls to Limit Employee Exposures.
• Compare employee exposures to noise and air contamination against regulatory limits from client, OSHA, or ACGIH.
• Ensure safe work practices on all project work.
• Actively develop your own career growth.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science/Engineering, or other related field.
• Master’s degree a plus.
• 5-8 years of technical experience preferred.
• Experience working with industrial hygiene, asbestos, and lead sampling.
• Asbestos, lead, and/or lead inspector certifications preferred.
• Additional EHS certifications/licensures or interest in pursuing additional qualifications highly desired.
• Knowledge and understanding of asbestos OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• Ability to work in a respirator and protective clothing.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify, collect, organize, and document information and data.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving history, and reliable transportation are required.
• HAZWOPER 40 Hour Trained with Current 8-hour Refresher preferred.
• 70-80% fieldwork/travel required.
