Fiberglass Technician - 1st Shift - Osceola
About the Role
Performs fiberglass operations duties in the production of fiberglass bodies for Altec Osceola Body Plant. Positions are bid roles with the following key differences from Technician Assistants:
- Additional PPE required for the entire workday
- Heavy work: 25–50 lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally
- Chemical proximity: Styrene, Organic Peroxide, Methyl methacrylate
- Ergonomic challenges: Constant reaching, frequent bending at the waist
- High level of operator maintenance required
- High level of detail required (parts cannot be reworked)
Responsibilities
Eligible positions include:
- Application operators (Gelcoat, Chop & Interior Paint)
- Rollers
- Glue (Bulkhead, Flatting)
- Cutting (G1, G2)
- Door closing

Requirements
- High School degree or GED
