About the role
The role involves designing, manufacturing, and installing fiberglass components for various marine vessels and structures. This includes creating detailed drawings, overseeing the fabrication process, and ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate fiberglass components according to project specifications.
- Oversee the assembly and installation processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new product designs and improve existing ones.
- Perform quality checks on all fiberglass components to maintain high standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fiberglass fabrication and installation.
- Proficiency in CAD software and basic knowledge of marine vessel design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) fabrication techniques.
- Understanding of marine vessel construction and materials.
- Basic knowledge of marine safety regulations.
