Family Support Partner

Responsibilities

• Provide education, guidance, and support to families of children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing mental health challenges.
• Navigate complex social, legal, educational, and healthcare systems for families.
• Deliver family-to-family support through advocacy, coaching, education, and resource coordination.
• Accurately inform families about available services and resources.
• Connect families to appropriate services and referrals.
• Ensure ongoing follow-up to support families in accessing and sustaining needed care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) preferred; required within six months of hire
• Personal, lived experience as a primary caregiver of a youth, adolescent, or young adult who has/had mental health needs
• Prior experience assisting other families to obtain appropriate services and supports for their child and family members
