What You’ll Do
- Connect families to community resources, referrals, and support services based on their individual needs.
- Process, manage, and close referrals accurately and within required timeframes.
- Assess family strengths, needs, and risk factors using tools such as social determinants of health screenings and Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ).
- Provide families with educational resources related to child development, parenting, quality child care, postpartum support, and other family-focused services.
- Support families on CCG waiting lists by connecting them to Pre-K and other eligible community-based programs.
- Educate parents on child care enrollment processes and available early childhood services.
- Collaborate with Inclusion Specialists and community partners to connect families with intervention and support services.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and social service agencies throughout North Texas.
- Coincordinate and participate in group trainings, educational sessions, outreach events, and community presentations.
- Prepare accurate reports, referrals, assessments, success stories, and other documentation required by funders and program partners.
- Represent CCG professionally at workshops, conferences, and community events.
What You Bring
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
- Ace's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Parent Education, Social Work, Human Services, or another closely related field.
- Five years of experience in child care, social services, parent education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience launching or supporting new programs is a plus.
- Knowledge of community resources, social service systems, and support agencies throughout North Texas.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage families from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data entry, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- A passion for supporting families and advancing positive outcomes for young children.
