About the Role

As a Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician in Failed Claims, you will fill and count medications, perform varied activities, and handle moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. This role involves computations and semi-routine tasks, ensuring inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by collaborating with the inventory supply team. You will work remotely and report to a leader in the Failed Claims department.

Decisions typically focus on interpreting area or department policy and methods for completing assignments. You will work within defined parameters to identify expectations and quality standards but have some latitude over prioritization and timing, operating under minimal direction. Standard policies allow for interpretation, deviation, or independent discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Fill and count medications.
  • Perform moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks.
  • Conduct computations and manage semi-routine assignments.
  • Ensure inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with the inventory supply team.
  • Interpret and apply department policies and methods for completing assignments.
  • Use independent discretion within defined parameters for prioritization and timing.

Requirements

  • Must live in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, or Florida.
  • Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in your state of residence.
  • National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT).
  • Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Failed Claims experience.

Work at Home Requirements

  • Self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria:
    • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
    • Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested.
  • Work from a dedicated space free of ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
  • Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay

The starting base pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $40,000 - $52,300 per year. Pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
