Primary Purpose
The faculty member is responsible for teaching, providing clinical supervision, and mentoring student research in the doctoral clinical and school psychology programs. Evidence of scholarly productivity is required. A track record of, or potential to secure, external funding to support research is desirable. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience and credentials.

Essential Job Functions
- Teaches courses in clinical and forensic psychology in the doctoral programs in clinical psychology.
- Maintains an active research program and develop peer-reviewed publications.
- Mentors doctoral students in research.
- Creates a climate that is conducive to learning.
- Supports the mission of the College by demonstrating flexibility in meeting program needs for supervision, and/or meetings.
- Participates in department-wide activities such as faculty meetings, chairing dissertations and directed study projects, clinical competency examinations, and other service activities as assigned.
- Serves and contributes to appropriate department, college, university, and national committees.
- Maintains a professional development plan to assure growth and currency within the academic field.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required by the Department Chair and/or Dean.
Job Requirements
- Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Required Certifications/Licensures: Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Florida.
- Required Education: Doctoral Degree Major (if required: Clinical, Counseling Psychology or related field)
- Required Experience: 1. University teaching experience. A record of scholarly publications. Clinical/scholarly expertise in forensic psychology
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years teaching graduate level courses in psychology or related field.
- Supervision experience.
- Potential to secure external funding to support a research program.
