Primary Purpose
Provides high quality instruction in field of expertise to ensure students meet course outcomes. Collaborates with college staff and colleagues to improve students' learning experience, as well as conducts research or scholarship to advance knowledge and mentoring students.

Essential Job Functions
- Maintains an active research program and develop a strong record of peer-reviewed publications and grant submissions.
- Teaches core courses in the psychology programs.
- The teaching load is contingent on research productivity.
- Mentors students in research.
- Creates an environment that is conducive to learning.
- Serves and contributes to appropriate department, college, and university committees.
- Maintains a professional development plan to assure growth and currency within the academic field.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required by the Department Chair and/or the Dean.

- Doctoral Degree Major (if required: Psychology)
- Required Education: Doctoral Degree Major (if required: Psychology)
- Required Experience: 1. Record of external funding to support a research program (or evidence of potential to secure external funding). A record of scholarly publications. College and/or university level teaching experience.
- Required Certifications/Licensures:
- Preferred Qualifications: The preferred area of scholarly expertise is Clinical/ Health Psychology.
