About the role
The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is seeking a faculty position in the Department of Psychology. The position is open to candidates with a doctoral degree in Clinical or School Psychology, Nebraska licensure (or license eligibility), and board certification (BCBA).
Responsibilities
- Delivery of behavioral health assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services for neurotypical individuals (children, adolescents, and families) and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan.
- Referrals come from schools, physicians, and community agencies throughout the region.
- Clinical activities may focus on outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics at MMI, integrated primary care sites across the Omaha metro area, or school-based mental health clinics in the surrounding community.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical or School Psychology
- Nebraska licensure (or license eligibility)
- Board certification (BCBA) valued
- Preferred: Clinical internship from APA/CPA-accredited programs in psychology
Qualifications
- Experience in clinical practice, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of neurotypical and IDD populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Interest in research and teaching within a behavioral science framework
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in evidence-based practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
