About the role

The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is seeking a faculty position in the Department of Psychology. The position is open to candidates with a doctoral degree in Clinical or School Psychology, Nebraska licensure (or license eligibility), and board certification (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Delivery of behavioral health assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services for neurotypical individuals (children, adolescents, and families) and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan.
• Referrals come from schools, physicians, and community agencies throughout the region.
• Clinical activities may focus on outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics at MMI, integrated primary care sites across the Omaha metro area, or school-based mental health clinics in the surrounding community.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Clinical or School Psychology
• Nebraska licensure (or license eligibility)
• Board certification (BCBA) valued
• Preferred: Clinical internship from APA/CPA-accredited programs in psychology

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical practice, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of neurotypical and IDD populations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Interest in research and teaching within a behavioral science framework

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
