About the role

The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is seeking a multilingual faculty member in the Department of Psychology. The position is open to candidates with a doctoral degree in Clinical or School Psychology, Nebraska licensure (or eligibility), and board certification in Behavioral Analysis (BCBA).

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral health assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services for neurotypical individuals (especially children, adolescents, and families) and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Referrals come from schools, physicians, and community agencies throughout the region.
  • Facilitate clinical services, training, and research in outpatient BH clinics, integrated primary care sites, and school-based mental health clinics.
  • Engage in clinical supervision through the APA-accredited Nebraska Internship Consortium and a growing postdoctoral fellowship program.
  • Pursue clinical research aligned with the department’s mission, with flexibility in specific areas of focus.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical or School Psychology.
  • Nebraska licensure (or license eligible).
  • Board certification (particularly BCBA) is valued.
  • Clinical internship from APA/CPA-accredited programs in psychology preferred.

  • Multilingual proficiency required.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Experience in delivering behavioral health services to diverse populations.
