Essential Job Functions
- Maintains an active research program and develops a strong record of peer-reviewed publications and grant submissions.
- Teaches core courses in the neuroscience program.
- The teaching load is contingent on research productivity.
- Mentors students in research.
- Contributes to diversity and inclusivity in research, teaching, and service.
- Creates an environment that is conducive to learning.
- Serves and contributes to appropriate department, college, and university committees.
- Maintains a professional development plan to assure growth and currency within the academic field.

- Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Required Certifications/Licensures
- Required Education: Doctoral Degree Major (if required: Neuroscience or related field)
- Required Experience: 1. Record of external funding to support a research program (or evidence of potential to secure external funding). A record of scholarly publications. College and/or university level teaching experience.
