Career Opportunity

Spartronics is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead daily site-level facilities maintenance and infrastructure support within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily facilities maintenance operations including preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, infrastructure support, and facility readiness activities.
  • Cook up work assignments, maintenance priorities, schedules, and operational support activities for Facilities Technicians and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, utility distribution, and building infrastructure, operate safely and effectively.
  • Support operational readiness by responding to facility issues, infrastructure failures, equipment breakdowns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance programs and ensure maintenance activities are completed effectively and in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to Facilities Technicians and maintenance personnel.
  • Cook up and oversee vendor activities, contractor work, and external service providers to ensure compliance with operational, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Cook up and collaborate with operations, engineering, safety, quality, IT, and leadership teams to support facility infrastructure needs and operational objectives.
  • Support planning and execution of facility projects, equipment moves, infrastructure upgrades, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and infrastructure documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with facility procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
  • Support emergency response activities related to facility systems, utility outages, environmental concerns, or operational disruptions.
  • Identify opportunities for facility reliability improvement, maintenance optimization, energy efficiency, and infrastructure enhancement.
  • Aid with budgeting, maintenance planning, resource allocation, and inventory coordination related to facility operations as applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance effectiveness, facility operations, and workforce performance.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Citizenship Requirement due to ITAR- Must be a U.S. person within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, infrastructure support, or related technical experience.
  • Experience supporting facility operations within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, utility distribution, and building infrastructure systems.
  • Experience coordinating maintenance activities, preventative maintenance programs, and operational facility support functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and support resolution of complex facility and infrastructure issues.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational priorities and maintenance activities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and external service providers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, maintenance documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational reliability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management or work order systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement and maintenance optimization initiatives.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, kneel, and work in physically active environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, testing equipment, lift equipment, and maintenance machinery.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, electrical, or facility environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required and permitted by safety procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication methods.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and comply with all facility safety requirements and procedures.
