Facilities Project Manager
About the role
As a Facilities Project Manager at West Shore Home, you will support the daily tasks for lease property tenet build outs, verify leased building occupancies, research property permit requirements, manage facility lease termination conditions, and ensure the West Shore Home brand is represented at all locations.
Responsibilities
- Ownership over the daily tasks for lease property tenet build outs including verifying leased building occupancies, researching property permit requirements, and monitoring each facilities condition for compliance.
- Design and construction management including developing bid specifications, reading blueprints and evaluating design and construction projects.
- Working directly with vendors and internal departments to coordinate exterior signage, furniture, security, and warehouse layouts to meet Company timeline expectations.
- Traveling to each location of responsibility to verify compliance with design, West Shore Home standards, and verify lease commencement.
- Providing weekly updates on locations of responsibility to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, the Senior Director of Strategic Operations, and various other levels of Executive leadership.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- The company does not and will not sponsor employment visas.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% per year.
- 3-5 years’ experience in facilities project management and a Bachelor's Degree (in applicable field preferred).
- Knowledge of commercial real-estate permits, processes, and requirements, and the principles and practices of project management and contract administration.
- Experience with construction management including developing bid specifications, reading blueprints and evaluating design and construction projects.
