About the role

The Facilities Project Manager is a key position within LaBella's Program Management Services Division, focusing on the reconfiguration, maintenance, construction, and alteration of facilities. This role involves managing projects, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring adherence to specifications and schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Provides construction management, architectural design, and code compliance support.
  • Coordinates work of contractors and interfaces with clients to meet program requirements.
  • Manages multiple projects, overseeing all phases including evaluation, estimation, scheduling, budget management, design oversight, construction management, and project closeout.
  • Works closely with Facilities Maintenance and Operations teams to support corporate initiatives.
  • Develops and manages capital and expense budgets for the corporation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10-15 years of related experience in Engineering or related field, or Graduate Degree with 6-8 years of related experience.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in facilitating the design and project execution of architectural, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Project management skills coupled with the ability to effectively manage and partner with contractors, vendors, and team members.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations including OSHA, ADA, NFPA, NEC, EPA, and local Building Codes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and estimating software.
  • Experience with engineering blueprints, process specifications, and building layouts.
  • Experience with both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects.
