About the role
Cumming Group is a fast-growing project and cost management consultancy with over 60 offices globally. We are seeking a Facilities Project Manager in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities
- Support facilities projects for public works entities
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and client staff to execute various projects
- Provide project coordination and management support to department activities
- Affirm compliance with applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations
- Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, records, and files related to assigned activities
- Review, analyze, and make recommendations for professional services contracts
- Oversee facility planning and design contracts
- Assist in performing fiscal analysis related to facilities planning and construction
- Manage a variety of special projects as directed
- Communicate with client staff, consultants, and representatives of public agencies regarding planning requirements, schedules, and issues
- Operate a computer and assigned software to input data and develop reports
- Attend and represent the client in meetings, conferences, and governmental hearings
- Prepare and deliver oral presentations as requested
Requirements
- BS in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Facilities Management, Construction Project Management, or Engineering
Preferred Education and Experience
- PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and CADD software

Pay
The salary range for this full-time role is $84,400.00 - $112,533.35 per year.
