About the role
The Facilities Manager – Leased Facilities oversees all facility operations for the Ohio Attorney General’s leased properties, ensuring efficient leasing, space allocation, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Direct all facility operations for Attorney General leased facilities, including leasing, office space allocation, and maintenance/repair issues.
- Coordinate and track state maintenance inspections.
- Review bids and proposals for facility-related projects.
- Monitor scheduled improvements and construction projects.
- Set up and maintain a database to track costs, due dates, vendor lists, bids, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to facilities.
- Serve as liaison between General Services and property managers of leased facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with OhioBuys and state purchasing processes.
- Experience managing contracts and lease agreements.
- Knowledge of space management and office space software.
- Experience with small to mid-sized state-funded construction projects.
- Previous supervisory experience.
