JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Asset Coordinator is responsible for supporting effective tracking, maintenance, and optimization of an organization’s assets throughout their lifecycle. By ensuring accurate asset documentation and compliance with company policies, the Asset Coordinator helps to minimize losses, streamline operations, and support financial planning and reporting related to physical assets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records across all asset management systems
- Track the full lifecycle of assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, transfers, and disposal
- Cook with procurement and finance teams to ensure proper documentation, coding, and reconciliation of asset purchases
- Monitor asset and BOM inventory levels and support regular audits and physical inventory checks
- Generate reports on asset status, utilization, depreciation, and compliance for management review
- Ensure all asset-related data complies with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
- Aid in developing and improving asset management procedures and workflows
- Responsible for adhering to the life cycle asset management process throughout the entire life cycle of new and existing assets
- Maintains physical space and adheres to proper housekeeping standards
- Aids in Maintenance Manager to receive and process work order requests; provides updates or closure as needed
- Drafts and enters preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
- Follows required PPE and safety standards while working throughout all facilities
- Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as directed or needed
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Ensure 100% compliance with the Chemring Operational Framework, BACM, Code of Conduct and U.S. Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS
- Lawful US person (ITAR restrictions)
- Must be eligible to possess explosive under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for all employees of Chemring Energetic Devices
- Knowledge of asset management principles and lifecycle processes
- Proficiency in asset management software (e.g., DYNAWAY, SAP, Oracle, Asset Panda, ServiceNow, or similar)
- Data entry and data management abilities with high attention to accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
- Ability to work collaboratively with procurement, finance, IT, and operations teams
- Ability to generate and interpret asset reports, spreadsheets, and analytic summaries
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently
- Involves sitting much of the time but may involve routine periods of walking or standing
- Daily and extensive use of computer
- May be subject to inclement weather at times
PAY
CED's current salary range for this role is $28.00 - $37.25 / hour.
