What You'll Do

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the County's comprehensive facilities asset management program.
  • Design and formalize processes for asset inventory management, condition assessments, lifecycle planning, capital forecasting, and data governance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, standardized asset data for County-owned buildings and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Planning & Engineering, Facilities Maintenance & Operations, Capital Planning & Design, GIS, and Fiscal Services to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Analyze facility and infrastructure data to support long-term capital planning and deferred maintenance strategies.
  • Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and recommendations to support data-driven infrastructure investment decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
  • Utilize countywide and department-specific software applications to manage asset information, analyze data, and complete assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a preferred major in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Administration, or related area.
  • Have had at least three (3) years of full-time work experience in facilities asset management, infrastructure lifecycle planning, capital planning support, asset data governance, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Administration, or related analytical work involving physical infrastructure.
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur's license.
  • Have or obtain OSHA 30-hour training provided by the County within six (6) months of hire.
