About the role
The Greensboro Housing Authority seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead and manage its housing programs and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in affordable housing program operations and possess strong leadership, political, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of housing programs and operations
- Work effectively with elected officials, public agencies, residents, and other housing organizations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve housing quality and services
- Manage budget and financial resources
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in housing management
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a high-level administrative or operational oversight position in housing or community development

Strong knowledge of housing development, housing management, and federal, state, and local affordable housing programs.
