About the Role
As part of Internal Audit at MetLife, you’ll play a critical role protecting MetLife and its stakeholders by delivering both independent, risk-based, and objective assurance through audit execution and providing advice and insights through strategic advisory engagements. Responsibilities
- Manage complex executive calendars for senior audit leaders, proactively scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and balancing competing priorities.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, prepare detailed itineraries, and manage expense reporting and administrative transactions.
- Develop, edit, and format presentations, reports, correspondence, and leadership materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Organize team meetings, offsites, onboarding activities, and department resources while partnering with Executive Assistants and business partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, proactively anticipating needs and resolving issues before they arise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives (VP level or above) in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and shifting business needs simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and independent judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, M365 Copilot, Teams, WebEx), with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously, preferably within Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, or another corporate control function.
- Proven experience managing travel arrangements, expense reporting, and related administrative processes.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $62,300 - $83,100. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
