Event Set-up Lead

About the role

Responsible for the set-up and tear-down processes of all event functions at Hyatt. This position works closely with the Events and Event Services departments to ensure exceptional guest service results. This role is very hands-on and requires continuous walking, standing, and lifting of tables, chairs, and other event-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and tear-down of all event functions
• Collaborate with Events and Event Services departments to ensure exceptional guest service
• Maintain excellent communication and coordination with all hotel departments

Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and potential holidays
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and push 25lbs+ and tolerate continuous walking and standing
• Unafraid of guest service related tasks, projects, and responsibilities
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Fun and energized personality
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service

Qualifications

• 1+ Year of Event Setup Experience in a large-scale environment preferred
