Primary Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Taproom events calendar, including public events, semi-private, private events, and onsite Taproom activations
- Own and evolve the in-house music program, including two consistent weekly music nights and one monthly music event, as a core driver of community engagement, guest experience, and events revenue
- Coordinate artist communication, scheduling, and execution to ensure a consistent, high-quality music experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all event inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Plan and execute events from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with Lawson’s Finest brand standards and guest experience expectations
- Ensure events are well-organized, on-brand, and executed at a high level of quality
- Act as the on-site lead for event execution, ensuring seamless guest experiences
- Master event software “TripleSeat” for event optimization, targeted communication and event visibility
- Manage and grow the Taproom semi-private and soon to be private events program
- Support sales efforts by responding to inquiries, building relationships, and converting bookings
- Develop creative event solutions that meet guest needs while aligning with operational capabilities
- Maintain event performance, including bookings, revenue, and utilization
- Support pricing, packages, and offerings that drive profitability while maintaining brand integrity
- Partner with Marketing to align events with broader campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives
- Coordinate with Marketing to plan, promote, and execute quarterly signature events that strengthen guest engagement, community connection, and brand relevance
- Over time, help develop a flagship Lawson’s Finest event that becomes a recognizable, regional, high-impact annual experience for guests, the community, and the brand
- Collaborate with Taproom Leadership to ensure operational readiness for all events
- Communicate event details clearly to staff, ensuring awareness and alignment across teams
- Support coordination of event-related materials, promotions, and guest communications
- Ensure all events reflect the Lawson’s Finest hospitality experience and brand identity
- Help position the Taproom as a premier destination by delivering consistently engaging and high-quality events and experiences
- Focus on creating memorable, engaging, and community-driven experiences
- Identify opportunities to enhance guest engagement through events and activations
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, organization, and execution across all events
- Taproom Leadership Support
- Provide Taproom Management coverage as needed. 1-2 MOD shifts/week
- Maintain a visible and supportive presence during events and peak business periods
- Support overall service standards and guest experience execution
- Coach team members in real time on guest engagement and service execution
- Address operational needs and support team performance during service
Requirements and Expectations
- 3–5+ years of experience in events, hospitality, or related leadership roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience coordinating events, timelines, and logistics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic systems (POS experience preferred)
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically able to meet job demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be based in or able to reliably commute to Waitsfield, VT
