Event Manager

EEG is an event agency that creates memorable experiences for businesses. We've been doing this for 30 years, delivering events that engage audiences and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for planning and executing events such as user conferences, sales kickoffs, roadshows, incentives, and more.
• Carefully coordinate event management across departments like Registration, Platform, Sponsorship, IS, Air, and Finance.
• Manage event budgets, invoices, payment schedules, and cost-saving reports.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment among all internal and external teams throughout the event.
• Create and manage the event project plan and timeline.
• Lead and participate in client and internal meetings, including status updates, pre-program walkthroughs, on-site meetings, and post-program reviews.
• Drive client and internal team deliverables to meet timeline milestones.
• Coordinate venue management, including space allocation, setup, food and beverage services, electrical needs, and internet access.
• Manage third-party vendors such as Audio Visual, Production, Entertainment, IT/Internet, Photography, Printing, Security, Shipping, Translation, and Transportation.
• Develop and produce all necessary program materials, including agendas, conference guides, and event programs.
• Prepare budgets, coordinate itineraries, and conduct site inspections.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event management, meeting planning, or hospitality.
• One to two years of direct client management experience.
• Up to 50% travel required.
