Role: Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and emergency repairs on vehicles and equipment.Maintain and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components.Conduct safety and DOT inspections, read technical manuals, and prepare equipment for daily use.Assist with parts procurement, inventory management, and operate diagnostic and maintenance tools.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Support work in shop settings, on active job sites, or via service trucks. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred.At least two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment, or fleet maintenance.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.Welding, fabrication, and tools proficiency advantageous.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adhere to safety standards.
