Role: Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery.Conduct scheduled, emergency repairs on various equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems.Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment such as loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, and trailers.Perform safety and DOT inspections, read technical manuals, and maintain accurate maintenance records.Assist with parts procurement, operate diagnostic and welding equipment, and ensure a safe, organized work environment. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.At least two years of experience in diesel repair, heavy equipment maintenance, or related fields.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.Welding, fabrication, and tool proficiency are advantageous.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties: Supporting fleet and equipment maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, managing work orders, and maintaining operational readiness.
