Role Overview We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various vehicles and equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems.Conduct safety and DOT inspections, maintain equipment readiness, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Read schematics, work orders, and manuals; operate diagnostic and repair tools safely.Maintain accurate maintenance records, assist with parts procurement, and keep a clean, organized work environment.Support field operations by working in shops, on active job sites, or from service trucks. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.At least two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or related fields.Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsements preferred.Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain tools and safety standards.
