Role Overview We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot fleet vehicles, heavy machinery, and pavement preservation equipment. The role includes diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems, performing preventive and emergency repairs, and conducting safety and DOT inspections. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency maintenance on various vehicles and equipmentDiagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and moreMaintain and repair loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, trailers, and related machineryRead manuals, schematics, and work orders; prepare equipment for daily useMaintain accurate records, assist with parts procurement, and operate tools and diagnostic equipment safelyEnsure a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSupport field operations from shop or service trucks as needed Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferredAt least two years of experience in diesel repair or equipment maintenanceStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across various systemsValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferredWelding and fabrication skills are a plusAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and use necessary tools and software Benefits & Opportunities Competitive hourly pay ($24.00 - $39.00)Weekly pay, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off401(k) with company match, bonuses, sign-on incentives, and career growth opportunities
