Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians

Role Overview We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians to support maintenance, repair, and operation of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency repairs on fleet vehicles, trailers, and construction equipmentDiagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, HVAC systems, and other mechanical componentsConduct inspections, maintain equipment, and prepare vehicles for daily useMaintain accurate maintenance records and assist with parts procurementOperate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safelyEnsure a clean and organized work environmentPerform safety and DOT inspections, adhering to regulationsSupport field operations, working in shops, active job sites, or from service trucksPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferredAt least 2 years of experience in diesel repair, equipment or fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repairStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferredWelding and fabrication experience is a plusAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentRequired tools for repairs and maintenance Additional Information Offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k)), paid time off, holidays, bonuses, sign-on incentives, and opportunities for career advancement.
