Role Overview We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians to support maintenance, repair, and operation of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems. Mechanics may work in a shop, on active job sites, or from service trucks supporting field operations. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency repairs on fleet and construction equipment.Maintain and repair loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, trailers, and other machinery.Conduct safety and DOT inspections, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.Read manuals, schematics, and work orders; prepare equipment for daily use.Manage maintenance records, assist with parts procurement, and operate diagnostic and welding tools.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.Minimum of two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or related fields.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsements are a plus.Welding, fabrication, and tool maintenance skills are advantageous.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
