Equipment Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior robotics advisor to support the development and integration of robotic equipment within manufacturing facilities for new projects and business plans.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring team members on technical and project management aspects, ensuring quality of robotic deliverables.
• Supporting lower-level planners in concept development, early cost and schedule estimates, and monitoring project milestones.
• Leading or supporting project activities related to new technologies and process improvements.
• Contributing to the evolution of robotic design standards and methods.
• Conducting technical inspections and supporting recurrence prevention activities.
• Assisting with budget planning and business plan implementation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering, or equivalent with experience.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, especially with industrial robotic systems.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, safety standards, and automated equipment development.
• Excellent technical communication skills.

Work Conditions

• Primarily office-based with system support on manufacturing floors.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as needed.
