About the Role
This position leads complex system configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support of applications, with a focus on clinical or IT systems to ensure high-quality care using electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee business-specific projects, develop work plans, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and influence project outcomes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system issues and escalate critical problems as needed.
- Plan and perform complex system configuration, monitor system performance, and manage application maintenance.
- Create detailed documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Provide application support, lead hardware/software changes, and recommend system optimizations.
- Analyze application capabilities, workflows, and data to support clinical or IT systems.
- Evaluate new applications and identify system requirements for planning.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience with Epic or similar health system software, or scripting/programming experience.
- Minimum two years in a leadership role within IT or operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight or more years of relevant work experience, with alternative work experience substituting the degree if applicable.
