Epic Population Health IT Associate Analyst
Overview
The Epic Population Health IT Associate Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support, optimization, testing, and maintenance of Epic Population Health applications, including Healthy Planet. This entry-level role partners with clinical, operational, and technical teams to analyze workflows, support system enhancements, evaluate software releases, and resolve application-related issues. The ideal candidate brings a combination of clinical case management, inpatient nursing, and population health experience, with an interest in leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes, care coordination, and organizational efficiency. This is a remote position that works closely with cross-functional teams to support application integration, system upgrades, testing, and ongoing operational support.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Preferred) — or 2 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Certification/Licensure
- Epic Healthy Planet Certification (Preferred)
Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant healthcare, clinical informatics, application support, or IT analyst experience with a degree
- 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in clinical case management, care coordination, or population health programs required
- Knowledge of inpatient nursing workflows and healthcare operations
- Familiarity with Epic Healthy Planet, population health management tools, or healthcare technology applications preferred
- Experience supporting software testing, workflow analysis, system upgrades, or application optimization activities preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment
Pay
The base pay rate for Full Time employment is $25.71 - $42.85. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
