About the role

Participates in the development (design, build, test) and support of Children's applications systems. Implements cost-effective solutions. Facilitates the development of proposed solutions to business-sponsored initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, build, and test application systems.
  • Support and maintain Children’s applications systems.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions for business initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into high-level system specifications.
  • Evaluate business user needs against current system capabilities.

Requirements

  • Must hold current certification in Epic Radiant (Radiology Module) – must be active.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a related area may substitute for the degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a hospital/clinic healthcare setting with experience supporting an EHR, related applications, and integrated workflows.

Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and/or financial software applications.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and various other hospital staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of associates and management.
  • Analytical processes and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows products (Word, Excel, Access, and Project) or equivalent.
  • Aptitude for learning new software tools and products.
  • Familiarity with the software development cycle.

Pay

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hours per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate, internal equity, and organizational needs.
