About the role
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm in all 50 States, has immediate openings in its Northern California offices for multiple Environmental & Toxic Tort Attorneys/Senior Counsel with anywhere from zero to 15 years of substantive experience. These full time, partner track positions offer in-office, remote, and hybrid work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Handle high stakes litigation with cutting edge scientific issues
- Take depositions and/or argue motions in court
- Write and argue significant motions and make new law
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible results for clients
- Mentor associates to become the best advocates they can be
- Handle appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
Requirements
- Strong academic credentials
- Self-starters ready to handle cases with limited supervision
- Licensed in California
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following subject areas: CERCLA; RCRA; silica; talc & asbestos; nuisance & trespass; complex litigation; tort and products liability; general environmental and toxic tort
Skills
- Excellent courtroom and deposition skills
- Ability to write and argue significant motions
- Experience in handling complex litigation
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills

Pay
The firm's current national base salary ranges are: Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000; Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000; Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+. Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
