About the role
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has immediate openings for Environmental/Toxic Tort Attorneys with 3+ years of substantive experience in our Northern California offices. These positions may present a remote (work from home) or hybrid opportunity.
We are seeking attorneys who want to handle high-stakes litigation involving cutting-edge scientific issues, elevate their courtroom and deposition skills, write and argue significant motions, and contribute to shaping new laws. The ideal candidates will join a collegial and dedicated team of environmental and toxic tort lawyers working together to achieve exceptional results for high-profile clients.

Responsibilities
- Handle high-stakes environmental and toxic tort litigation with complex scientific issues
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft, argue, and litigate significant motions in court
- Develop case law through strategic advocacy
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Engage in client interactions and appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of substantive litigation experience, including taking depositions and/or arguing motions in court
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: CERCLA, RCRA, silica, talc & asbestos, nuisance & trespass, complex litigation, tort and products liability, or general environmental and toxic tort
- Cannabis experience is a plus
- Licensed and admitted to practice in California
- Strong academic credentials
- Self-starter capable of handling cases with limited supervision
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset

Pay
Compensation is tailored to each individual based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market. National base salary ranges are:
- Associates (1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
- Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
- Partners (7+ years): $190,000–$275,000
Pay range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $275,000.00 per year.
