About the role
Silver Lining In-Home Care is seeking full- and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care services to clients in Kent County. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of aging adults and empowering our Care Family to fulfill their purpose-driven work.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care services to clients
- Participate in a 2-week instructor-led HHA certification course (free)
- Complete required homework assignments
- Take weekly skills competency sign-offs and tests
- Option to attend additional open labs on Wednesdays
- Pick up shifts and assist in the community after completing the course
- Receive Behavioral Health Paraprofessional training
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Criminal record check meeting hiring guidelines
- Able to lift, position, and transfer patients
- Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellence, and have a good attitude
Qualifications
The course covers all necessary skills and certifications for becoming a Home Health Aide. Upon completion of the course and orientation, you will be ready to start working with clients in our community.
