About the role
Silver Lining In-Home Care is seeking full- and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care services in Rehoboth, Lewes, and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of aging adults and empowering our Care Family to fulfill their purpose.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care services to clients
- Participate in a 2-week HHA Certification Course (free)
- Complete 500 hours of employment to receive certification
- Take an instructor-led course with lecture and practical sessions
- Receive additional open lab time on Wednesdays to practice skills
- Be tested on skills competency on Fridays
- Gain training in Behavioral Health Paraprofessional care
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Criminal record check meeting hiring guidelines
- Able to lift, position, and transfer patients
- Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellence, and have a good attitude
Qualifications
- Pass a physical examination
- Pass a 2-Step PPDA test
Benefits
The course is free and includes a bag at the end. Upon completing 500 hours of employment, a certificate will be issued.
