About the role
Silver Lining In-Home Care is seeking full- and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care services to clients. We are dedicated to serving communities, enabling aging adults to live independently, and empowering our Care Family to fulfill their purpose.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with medication management and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in client’s condition to supervising nurse
- Ensure client safety and comfort during daily activities
- Participate in instructor-led course for 2 weeks
- Complete required homework and pass skills competency sign-offs and tests
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Criminal record check meeting hiring guidelines
- Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients
- Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellence, and positive attitude
Qualifications
- Completion of a 2-week HHA Certification Course (free)
- First 500 hours of employment results in a free certificate
- Additional Behavioral Health Paraprofessional training available
Benefits
The course includes a free bag and provides a 2-week instructor-led course with lecture and skills practice. Additional open lab time and skill competency sign-offs/tests are offered each week.
