Entry AP Specialist

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter supplier invoices in a high-volume setting
• Process, sort, and scan incoming mail
• Understand job and general ledger account structures and correctly assign cost codes to invoices
• Apply established requirements to determine proper invoice processing
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
• Review supplier statements to ensure accurate and complete records
• Monitor outstanding payments and take appropriate corrective action
• Code credit card transactions and follow up on missing receipts
• Prepare journal entries
• Provide proactive, positive support to project managers and suppliers to ensure an excellent customer experience
• Contribute ideas and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete ad hoc projects and reporting requests as needed
