Admissions Specialist

About the Role

The Admissions Specialist will verify, review, and evaluate application materials for National & Global Education programs to determine admission status, as well as maintain and update admission files post-acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all applicant files for admission.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of all National & Global programs to determine student eligibility.
• Enter all transfer work into the student information system.
• Coordinate with enrollment areas on application requirements, acceptance issues, and current student status.
• Prepare student evaluations for all applicants and ensure continued accuracy throughout the program.
• Work with academic advising staff to resolve credit transfer questions.

Requirements

• All employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
• High School Diploma (required).
• Experience in higher education (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
