About the role
The Enrollment Systems Security Analyst serves as the program administrator for the provisioning and deprovisioning of user access to the enterprise student information system (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, aka GET) and third-party systems used by the Registrar’s Office.
Responsibilities
- Review user access requests and identify an acceptable user profile based on established templates.
- Develop or reconfigure user templates, roles, and permission lists in response to changing user needs and software enhancements.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve user access issues in coordination with the ITS Help Desk.
- Complete the CSU Access Control Policy annual Access Review in cooperation with the campus Information Security Officer.
- Develop program administration related queries and reports.
- Monitor daily and weekly audit reports used to identify potential security risks.
- Develop and maintain process guides for all job duties.
- Advise management on improvements to security-related policies and procedures.
- Financial Analysis: Create requisitions, process invoices and receipts, Pro-Card reconciliation, travel requests and reimbursements.
- Planning and Fund Management: Complete monthly budget reconciliation, facilitate account transfers, monitor general fund and multiple trust account balances.
- Human Resources: Submit personnel requisitions and employee transaction forms, coordinate searches, onboard new-hires, process separations, post payable time.
- Facilities Planning and Administration: Track space and equipment usage, coordinate changes with facilities and furniture vendors, report maintenance issues, submit key requests.
- Contract Administration: Ensure annual vendor contracts are processed in a timely manner in coordination with area managers.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Complete arrangements for department events, assist the Veterans Resource Center with hosting military connected gatherings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
- Working knowledge of the principles, problems, and methods of operational and fiscal management.
- Ability to understand problems from a broad, interactive perspective and discern applicable underlying principles to conceive of and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to take initiative and analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and statistical techniques.
- Expertise in investigating and analyzing problems with broad administrative impact and implications.
- Skill in research and evaluation of policies and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the work group and serve as a liaison for the Registrar's Office.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and concepts in written or presentation format.
- Ability to work with representatives from public and private entities and handle potentially sensitive situations.
Qualifications
- A demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in a higher education environment, including knowledge of academic and enrollment systems.
- Experience with financial and budget analysis and preparation of human resources documentation.

Schedule
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; exempt classification.
