About the role

Enrollment Navigators (EN) facilitate patient/family communications and paperwork for entry into MHMR services. They assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in accessing state waivers and MHMR programs. ENs have frequent in-person contact to complete required documentation by state deadlines and provide screening, assessment, crisis intervention, and service planning. Serving as the "front door" to services, ENs offer seamless person-centered support during intake, eligibility, and enrollment. They collaborate, communicate proactively, and help patients identify and prioritize personal goals and service requests.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Defined Education: Health/Human Services
  • Acceptable Degrees Include: Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Services field, Communication Disorders, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Education, Family Studies, Gerontology, Educational Psychology, Health Services, Human Services field, Human Growth and Development, Medicine, Nursing, Physician Assistant, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Services field, Social Work, Sociology, and Special Education
  • Preferences: Bilingual
  • License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License
