About the role
The Enrollment Advisor will develop relationships with teacher intern candidates, guiding them through the enrollment process, troubleshooting issues, and supporting their journey toward certification. This role supports candidates from multiple states and requires learning certification requirements for all locations. Hybrid or remote work is available, with a preference for candidates located in Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, or New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with candidates via telephone, email, or live chat to build rapport and assist with the initial application process.
- Use sales techniques to highlight program features and benefits, encouraging candidates to enroll.
- Demonstrate proficiency in program knowledge and explain how the program works to prospective and current candidates.
- Determine candidates’ certification goals and assess whether the program aligns with their needs.
- Maintain high-level customer service and a positive attitude while supporting team members as needed.
- Manage day-to-day tasks related to tracking candidate progress toward enrollment.
- Document policies, procedures, and communications in candidate accounts to ensure clarity and updates.
- Collaborate with the back office/fulfillment team to communicate transcript requirements to candidates.
- Promote and sell the Teachers of Tomorrow program using value-driven statements to prospective and existing candidates.
- Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Address customer concerns and needs with strong customer service skills.
- Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow’s core values.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales-oriented position.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills to convey program benefits.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
