About the role
We are seeking a results-driven, student-focused Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and skilled at guiding prospective students toward informed, life-changing academic decisions. You will connect students with programs that support their goals while consistently meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outreach volume, contact-to-appointment conversion, application completion, and enrollment success. This dynamic role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process
- Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance
- Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow-up
- Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation
- Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or higher degree preferred)
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios
- One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for-profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new systems
- Positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
Schedule
- Monday - Thursday: Two days 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, two days 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Fridays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 1 Saturday per month
Pay
$20 - $28 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
